After undergraduate studies at Emory University, he worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, for two years, where he was actively involved in research studying the effects of environmental toxins on health at the National Center for Environmental Health before finishing his medical school at NOVA Southeastern University.
Subsequently, he completed his medical training at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and is double board certified in Family Medicine and Integrative Holistic Medicine. In addition, he is certified as one of the first groups of global practitioners of the Institute of Functional Medicine. He holds certifications through the famous Paracelsus Clinic in Switzerland in Swiss Biologic Medicine.
