
Steve Adams is a former corporate banker and veteran entrepreneur. His passion lies in optimizing the performance of entrepreneurs and high achievers. Steve has the expertise and extensive experience in building and scaling organizations through disciplined execution, direct-response marketing, and a culture that leads to extraordinary client experiences. Steve earned a bachelor’s in marketing (Northwood University) and MBA in Finance from Grand Valley State University.
Steve’s first career was in corporate banking, where over 15 years brought in nearly $500mm in new business, rising ultimately to a Regional Bank President role in his mid-30s.
After banking, Steve’s first venture was a retail organization inside a new franchised pet superstore concept. Steve, his partners, and the team innovated and developed many approaches, which the franchisor later adapted nationally. Over two decades, this organization grew to 44 units in 6 states with approximately 750 employees and revenues exceeding $100mm. At the time of Steve’s sale, the company led the chain nationally in same-store sales comps, Net Promoter Scores, client overall satisfaction scores, and employee engagement scores.
Steve is the Founder and CEO of a personalized medicine organization based in Seattle called Tiger Medical Institute, serving individuals seeking comprehensive restorative medicine for professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs.
Steve owns an organic grocery and supplement store with an organic food café, espresso, and wine bar in Fernandina Beach, Florida, on Amelia Island.
Steve is also the author of several books, including Passionate Entrepreneur, Unleashing The Peak Performer Within You, The Eye of the Tiger Manifesto, and Patient Number One.
In 2008 Steve founded International Business as Mission (www.ibam.org), an international non-profit providing entrepreneurial training and start-up funding in developing nations. Since its inception, over 60 businesses in 10 countries have been launched under the iBAM program.
